Kawanua New Zealand
OPENING
We, Kawanua families who live in New Zealand from generations, are aware of their origins, relations and connections to the land of Minahasa and Manado in North Sulawesi, geographically located in the northern region of Central Indonesia.
We, Kawanua families who study, work and live in New Zealand, realise the importance of maintaining and nurturing a familial traits, mutual respect and mutual understanding with a spirit and noble values " Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou" (human to support human life), "Mapalus" (mutual aid) and " Torsamba " (torang samua basudara).
Based on these visions and by the blessings and the love of God Almighty, we decided to form an umbrella organisation to unite Indonesian Kawanua family in New Zealand with the Statutes and Bylaws as follows:
ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION
Kawanua New Zealand
CHAPTER I
NAME , POSITION AND TIME
Article 1
Name of the organization is " Kawanua New Zealand", hereinafter referred to by the acronym " Kawanua NZ " .
Article 2
Kawanua NZ is only a container for the Indonesian people , which is derived from and related to , Minahasa Land , who lives in New Zealand from generation to generation .
Article 3
NZ Kawanua organization covers the whole territory of New Zealand and based in every major city in New Zealand.
Article 4
Kawanua organization founded in Auckland NZ on 1 April 2013 for an indefinite period .
CHAPTER II
ASAS
Article 5
paragraph 1
Kawanua NZ has a social value " Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou" ( human to support human life ) , " Mapalus " ( mutual aid ) and " Torsamba " ( torang samua basudara ) in fostering relationships between members .
paragraph 2
NZ Kawanua maintain social values of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution in developing relationships with other people of Indonesia and the Indonesian government .

NZ Kawanua understand the social values of Western and Maori New Zealand in developing relationships with the local community .
paragraph 4
NZ Kawanua foster and uphold the trust , honesty and good ethics .
CHAPTER III
PURPOSE
Article 6

Fosters unity and integrity of its members and foster mutually in a family atmosphere based on the visions contained in the preamble .
paragraph 2
Active role in human resource development activities of New Zealand Kawanua critical , creative and responsible .
paragraph 3
Active role in the promotion of arts and cultural activities in New Zealand Minahasa .
paragraph 4
Fostering close relationships and harmony with the government and local communities and demonstrate an open attitude to understand and assimilate to the culture and values of the local social .
CHAPTER IV
NATURE AND FORMS
Article 7
NZ Kawanua are social and familial .
Article 8
NZ Kawanua form community associations covering the entire territory of New Zealand and its existence is recognized by the government of origin , the Republic of Indonesia , and the local government , New Zealand.
CHAPTER V
DIRECTORS , MEMBERS AND MEETING
Article 9
Organizational structure and the management of common tasks stipulated in the Bylaws .
Article 10
NZ Kawanua Membership consists of Ordinary Members , Member, Honorary Member . Rights and obligations of Ordinary Members , Members and Honorary Members Extraordinary governed by the Bylaws .
Article 11
Meetings consist of Kawanua NZ Member Meeting and Board Meetings . Operation of each meeting is set in the Bylaws .
CHAPTER VI
FINANCIAL
Article 12
NZ Kawanua organizations financial resources obtained from :
1 . Members dues money .
2 . Results of those efforts are not contrary to the terms of reference .
3 . Other donations are legitimate and are not binding .
Exploitation and use of financial stipulated in the Bylaws .
CHAPTER VII
OTHER PROVISIONS
Article 13
paragraph 1
Amendment to the Articles of Association and Bylaws made by the board and approved by the members .
paragraph 2
NZ Kawanua organization be dissolved on the results of the meeting of Members .
paragraph 3
In terms of organization Kawanua NZ dissolved , all assets of the organization specified further in the Member Meeting .
paragraph 4
Statutes come into force when set .

CHAPTER I
stewardship
Article 1 - The Leadership Structure
Kawanaua NZ Leadership Structure consists of :
1 . Advisory , namely Elders and Community Leaders Minahasa living in New Zealand.
2 . Board , which consists of :
Chairman
Vice Chairman
Secretary
Treasurer
Coordinators
the structure and composition are customized to the needs of the organization in a period of management.
Article 2 - Formation of Leadership
1 . Chairman , Vice Chairman , Secretary and Treasurer elected by the members in the Member Meeting Kawanua NZ .
2 . Leadership positions held for three years .
3 . The chairmanship shall be held by the same person for two consecutive periods .
4 . Chairman and Board are prospective members to be disenfranchised in New Zealand for at least three years .
CHAPTER II
MEMBERSHIP
Article 3 - Definitions Members
1 . Ordinary members are families or individuals who are domiciled in New Zealand relating directly or indirectly to the area of North Sulawesi .
2 . Extraordinary members are set by individual Member Meeting for service and contribution to the advancement Kawanua NZ .
3 . Honorary members are individuals who are determined by the Board Meetings for the services and outstanding contribution to the Kawanua NZ .
Article 4 - Member Requirements
Terms of Ordinary Members are :
1 . Families or individuals who come from North Sulawesi , or
2 . Families or individuals who have a wedding with people who have ancestry roots are from North Sulawesi , or
3 . Families or individuals sympathetic to Kawanua NZ and willing to submit to the rules set out in the terms of reference and the provisions of other organizations .
4 . Approved the terms of reference and the provisions of other organizations .
5 . Fill out the form members .
Terms Extraordinary and Honorary Members are :
1 . Individuals who live in New Zealand or outside New Zealand sympathetic to Kawanua Zealand NZ .
2 . Indonesian or foreign nationals sympathetic to Kawanua NZ .
3 . Outstanding membership procedures and honor the provisions stipulated in the organization .
Section 5 - Termination of Membership
Membership ends because resigns , dies or is dismissed above provisions that the Member Meeting will be followed by a meeting of the Board .
CHAPTER III
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF MEMBERS
Article 6 - Obligations of Members
1 . Appreciate and practice the visions, principles and objectives Kawanua NZ listed in the Preamble and Articles of Association .
2 . Obey and uphold the AD and ART together with the provisions of any other organization .
3 . Actively participate in implementing the programs of the organization .
Article 7 - Rights of Members
Ordinary members have the right :
1 . Vote and be elected into the board .
2 . Submit proposals and suggestions .
3 . Following the activities of the organization .
Extraordinary Members and Honorary Members have the right to :
1 . Submit suggestions and proposals .
2 . Following the activities of the organization .
CHAPTER IV
MEETING - MEETING
Article 8 - Meetings of Members
Member Meeting is the highest forum members Kawanua NZ .
Privileges Member Meeting are :
1 . Change and set the terms of reference the Kawanua NZ .
2 . Establish Program Kawanua NZ .
3 . Choosing Kawanua NZ Executive Board .
4 . Assessing Accountability board Kawanua NZ
Meeting chaired by Board Member NZ Kawanua .
Member Meeting is held at least once a year and attended by officials and members .
The decision in the Member Meeting are considered valid if approved by at least half of the members present plus one member .
If not achieved total valid votes , Member Meeting will be repeated in the second meeting less than a month from the previous meeting .
In terms of counting , the sound of a voice is regarded as a Board Member .
Article 9 - Board Meetings
NZ Kawanua Board Meeting is a meeting attended by the Chairman and other officials in the board - management structure set out in Article 1 .
Powers Board Meetings are :
1 . Planning for the annual work program .
2 . Describe the annual work program .
3 . Establish organizational wisdom .
4 . Make provisions for the organization .
CHAPTER V
FINANCIAL
Article 10 - Collection and Use of Funds
The implementation of the fundraising provisions specified in the organization .
All financial expenditures must be the organization's financial statements are prepared in accordance with Treasury regulations will be determined in good organizations in Member Meeting and Board Meetings .
CHAPTER VI
TRANSITIONAL RULES
Article 11
Things are not set in the Bylaws as Heraldry and other attributes and will be determined later in the organizational regulations .
CHAPTER VII
CLOSING
Article 12
Bylaws shall be effective from the date of enactment .
